Ordering Your Bridesmaids Dresses

Choosing bridesmaids dresses is no easy task! We know it can be difficult to find a style that everyone loves so here’s a few things to keep in mind.

– Ordering time frames: standard delivery windows can be up to 18 weeks so it’s important to give yourselves plenty of time. We recommend allowing yourself an extra 4 weeks for local delivery, alterations and peace of mind!

– Fabric types: we know how much mix-n-match styles are trending right now but they can be a lot more complicated than they seem! Did you know that different fabric types will NEVER be a perfect colour match? All fabrics react differently to dyes so be aware that even if the same colour name is used, the two fabrics will not be the same colour. We recommend only selecting mix-n-match styles from the same fabric group to ensure a perfect colour match.

– Dye lots: because choosing the perfect dresses wasn’t hard enough already, another thing to keep in mind is fabric dye lots! Each dye batch of fabric can have a colour variation of up to 5% which naturally occurs during the dying process. The easiest way to avoid this is to order all your dresses at the same time and we will take care of the rest!

– Extra fabric: wanting to add sleeves or have matching ties made for the boys? Not a problem! You can order additional fabric to match your bridesmaids dresses. Just make sure to order it at the same time as your dresses to ensure a perfect colour match.
